Access

Access is only available to academic research groups and companies who actively collaborate with the Bowers group.

Billing

The FEMTO lab operates with an electronic billing system based on electronic key-cards.  Users are separated into two categories for billing purposes:  on campus users, such as graduate and post-doctoral students, and off campus users, such as employees of outside corporations.

On Campus users are charged  $20.68/hr

Off Campus users are charged  $50.00/hr

These rates have been updated and are effective July 1, 2012.

Procedures

Special training must be conducted before users will be allowed to use certain equipment. Information on what equipment and who to contact will be placed here.
