Tadashi Okumura received his B.E. and M.E. in Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2006 and 2008. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Tokyo Institute of Technology and joins Prof. J. E. Bowers group at UCSB in 2009. His research is focusing on the membrane-based photonic device on silicon for optical interconnection. He is a student member of IEEE/LEOS and JSAP
