Biography

Noelle Collins graduated Summa Cume Laude with her B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona in Spring 2018 (Bear Down). In 2018 she received the GRFP Fellowship from the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Chancellor's Fellowship from the Graduate Division at UCSB, and the Holbrook Fellowship from the Institute for Energy Efficiency (IEE). Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UCSB. She joined Professor John Bower's Optoelectronics Group in the summer of 2018. She is interested in studying integrated photonics while at UCSB. In her free time she enjoys mountain biking, time at the beach, and going to concerts.
