Shane Todd received B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from UCSB. His graduate study was supported by a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship. His dissertation research focused on micromachined passive microwave circuits in silicon. He is currently a research scientist at the Institute of Microelectronics in Singapore. His research interests include microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), photonics, microwave devices, and power devices.
